Fabienne! Fabienne lives in Belgium with her family. She took riding lessons there in preparation for our horse rides. On the ride down the mountain, a horse spooked and kicked her in the leg, just above the knee. John, Allan's son, has military first aid training and he determined that she had no broken bones, but how best to get her back to Station Flats? A medivac helicopter was possible, but Fabienne decided that, despite the pain, she could still ride! When we met up with her again three days later, at the Rockyford rodeo, she said that, even after being kicked, the Moose Mountain ride was something she wouldn't have wanted to miss. Fabienne wins our "Cowboy Up" award!
