On Hwy 2, north from Calgary, take the Crossfield exit, which leads to Highway 2A. Turn left onto Laut Avenue at the Crossfield Country Inn and then right onto Railway Street. The site is at the corner of Nanton and Railway Streets. See:

Remarks:
The store is now empty, although the shelf footings and some fixtures remain. Interested in being Monroe’s successor? Local real estate agent Don Jackett, (403) 946-5657, wants to talk with you. Beware. The place, like so many Brokeback shooting venues, needs lots of work!
